How Do You Get Your Body Ripped?

If you want to get ripped then you have to speed up your body’s metabolism. In order to speed up your metabolism you have to manipulate 3 variables. First, you must have a well-planned nutrition plan, second you must build lean muscle mass, and finally you must build lean muscle mass by having an intense cardio/resistance program. If you neglect any of these 3 variables then you are going to more than likely fall short of your goal.

Nutrition is the one variable that goes without saying, but its not that hard to control. I get tired of people using excuses. Just don’t eat bad stuff. Thats a big big start. You will be hugely surprised at what kind of results you will see from just cutting out the junk. Secondly, make sure you are getting a sufficient amount of protein. The NSCA recommends that you should take in anywhere from 1 to 2 grams per kilogram of body-weight depending on your activity level. You can workout and train your body from now until doomsday, but if you don’t get your necessary intake of protein then you won’t build the lean muscle mass that you need to speed up your metabolism. This leads us into the second and third variables.

You must train your body with a high level of intensity. Fat-loss and general weight-loss are more easily obtained when your perceived level of exertion is increased on a consistent basis. This burns a ton of calories both during the workout and, most importantly, long after you are done even when you are at rest. The key is to be consistent and unrelenting with your approach to restructuring all 3 of the variables that I mentioned.
